confirmed; it's practically etched in stone. Enter curve ball, and just like
that, life takes you on a journey of a life that you hadn't foreseen. This
wasn't in the playbook; it wasn't in the cards. Where the hell is the manual
for this chapter?
And, then, at THAT moment, you realize. This is life. Raw.
Unpredictable. Unfair. Life. It's a song stripped down to the words without
distraction, only pure notes and harmony.
Personally, I believe that music and life are companions, never able to be truly disconnected. One's a "perfect verse over a bangin' beat."
And, since music plays such a big part in my life, I take a lot of my lessons and messages from music. And, while all the elements work together to from a relaxing soul-soothing sound or a head-bopping bass line, the essence--the beauty--of the song is delivered when you strip it down to its raw form. The same can be said about life.
Sometimes life's hustle and commotion get you lost and wrapped up. And, while all YOUR life elements can work together to form a great life, sometimes it's necessary to strip it down, too, to its rawest form--where family, friendship, and love are at the foundation and what truly define a beautiful life.
